Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 7, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Adoption by Ordinance of the 2022 Non-Docket Docket Amendments to <br />Kittitas County Code, Approved by the Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The County is amending Kittitas County Code through an out-of-docket <br />cycle procedure required by KCC 15B.04.020 and Table B. <br /> <br />The Kittitas County Planning Commission held a public hearing on April <br />12, 2022, to consider 3 proposed amendments to Kittitas County Code <br />and/or Comprehensive Plan. Two items were recommended for approval, <br />and the Planning Commission recommended one item be remanded to <br />staff for revisions, to the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners held an open public <br />hearing on May 24, 2022. At the public hearing and after deliberation of <br />the proposed items, the Board of County Commissioners approved, or <br />approved with amendment, all three (3) of the items. The Commissioners <br />at the hearing directed staff to prepare enabling documents for the docket <br />items. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Public Works, Prosecuting Attorney <br />and Board of County Commissioners. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Ordinance regarding Kittitas County’s 2022 Non-Docket items <br />as approved by the Board of Commissioners during the public hearing on <br />May 24, 2022. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance with Exhibits A-C <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jeremy Johnston, Planning Official
