APRIL 29, 2022 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner <br />Brett Wachsmith. Excused: Vice-Chairman Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Patti Stacey, Solid <br />Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Elishia <br />Harvill, Chief Administrator; and Stephanie Hartung, Deputy <br />Prosecutor. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EMERGENCY MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 12:00 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened an Emergency Meeting to <br />consider a Resolution Declaring an Emergency at the Jail due to a <br />water leak. <br /> <br />Patti Stacey, Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance <br />Director/Project Manager, explained how there was a water leak at <br />the Jail facility. She said they need to take care of the issue as <br />soon as possible due to the public health and safety of the <br />employees and inmates. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2022-099 EMERGENCY DECLARATION – WATER LEAK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution No. 2022-099, <br />Local Agency Declaration of Emergency for the Public Health & Safety <br />of the Kittitas County Jail Facility – Water Leak at the Kittitas <br />County Jail Facility. Chairman Osiadacz seconded.
