<br /> <br />Public Health Study Session <br />September 22, 2021 <br />10:00 AM <br />Commissioner’s Conference Room/WebEx <br />Event Number: 2486 168 7735 <br />Event Password: Uvr4JmceM88 <br />https://kittitascounty.webex.com/kittitascounty/j.php?MTID=ec523f9fbbe46e423ed7331b1f95d7a1e <br /> <br />Attendees <br />Commissioners: Brett Wachsmith, Cory Wright, Laura Osiadacz <br />Public Health/PA staff: Tristen Lamb, Chelsey Loeffers, Kasey Knutson, Mark Larson, Erin Moore, <br />Stephanie Hartung <br /> <br />Department Business <br />Recommendations for the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) regarding E2SHB 1152 <br />Implementation for Kittitas County <br />Director Lamb presented a report with staff recommendations regarding E2SHB 1152 outlining the <br />options for local compliance and recommended to the BOCC that the BOH be expanded. <br />The BOCC directed staff to post for one additional BOH member. <br />Update on Provisional Contract Status, Developmental Disabilities <br />Kasey Knutson updated that after a contractually required on-site evaluation, the agency Entrust was <br />placed into provisional contract status. Kasey is working closely with our Deputy Prosecuting Attorney <br />(DPA) Stephanie Hartung to complete the provisional contract status. While in provisional status, <br />Entrust is not able to accept new clients for employment and day services. They are required to <br />complete the information for the on-site evaluation, notify current clients of the provisional status, and <br />in December there will be an additional required on-site evaluation. Kasey will update the BOCC at a <br />future meeting. <br />Other Business <br />Chelsey Loeffers advised the BOCC that there may be some staff potentially affected by the State <br />vaccine mandate due to the way we are funded for some of our grants/projects (SNAP-ED). DPA Hartung <br />is currently reviewing the contracts and will report her findings. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:25 am
