STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />WASHINGTON TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION <br />621 8" Avenue SE, Suite 409, PO Box 40944, Olympia, Washington 98504-0944, (360) 725-9860 <br />AMENDMENT # 1 <br />TO <br />2022 HIGH VISIBILITY ENFORCEMENT GRANT <br />BETWEEN <br />WASHINGTON TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION <br />AND <br />Kittitas County Sheriff's Office <br />The Grantee listed above participates in Region 12's high visibility enforcement grant, 2022- <br />HVE-4453-Region 12 Target Zero Task Force. Funding has been added to this grant to <br />include funds for enforcement participation in Click It or Ticket. This amendment adds to the <br />scope of work and project costs sections of above -referenced agreement. The additions to <br />the agreement are as follows: <br />Scope of Work Additions: <br />Objectives and Requirements for Click It or Ticket Patrols <br />1. SUB -RECIPIENT must use the spotter method for all Click It or Ticket (CIOT) HVE <br />events. This method will utilize a team of no less than three commissioned officers — <br />one spotter identifying violations and at least two officers responding to violations. <br />Officers on motorcycles are an excepted from this requirement. <br />2. SUB -RECIPIENT agrees that CIOT HVE patrols conducted without using the spotter <br />method or motor officers will not be compensated by the WTSC. <br />3. SUB -RECIPIENT will only expend funds for these HVE events in support of the <br />national CIOT campaign from May 16, 2022 — June 5, 2022. <br />Project Costs Additions: <br />Click It or Ticket Patrols <br />Section 402, CFDA 20.600 <br />$5,000 <br />All other sections and terms and conditions of this Contract remain in full force and effect. <br />This Amendment is executed by the persons signing below, who warrant that they have the <br />authority to execute this Amendment. It is effective on the date it is fully executed. <br />
