BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHTNGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO Ac\h- olrt <br />AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTI]RAL DESIGN WITH CIVIL SITE <br />DEVELOPMENT SERVICES SUPPORTING KITTITAS COUNTY SEARCH AND <br />RESCUE OPERATIONS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS <br />FACILITY DEVELOPMENT IN CLE ELUM, WASHINGTON <br />WHEREAS The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners directed Public Works <br />solicit for architectural support services designing the new regional search and <br />rescue facility in March 2022; and <br />WHEREAS:Public Works did solicit for architectural support services during the month of <br />March 2022 (pursuant to a statement of qualifications process) and a single <br />response was received from BORA Architecfure, Yakima, WA; and <br />WHEREAS:The Sheriffs Office and Public Works reviewed BORA's qualifications <br />and BORA appears well qualified to design the regional search and rescue <br />facility for the Board of County Commissioners. <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby award BORA Architecture the design contract for the regional search <br />and rescue facility in Cle Elum, WA. <br />NOW' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners does direct the <br />Director of Public Works negotiate a design contract with BORA Architecture on behalf of the <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br />DATED this lgtr' day of April 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTJNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />WASHINGTON <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Wright, Vice-Chairman,||il1\\\ <br />n Depuff Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett W lssloner
