BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY AND <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />RESOLUTION No. 2022 - <br />WHEREAS: The State of Washington, acting by and through the Health Care Authority, issued <br />a Request for Application for the purpose of developing or implementing or <br />continuing to expand Medication for Opiod Use Disorder in Jails Program; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County submitted a timely response to the Request for Application; and <br />WHEREAS: Health Care Authority reviewed all properly submitted Responses and has <br />identified Kittitas County as the Apparent Successful Bidder; and <br />WHEREAS: Health Care Authority has determined that entering into a contract with Kittitas <br />County will meet Health Care Authority's needs and will be in the State's best <br />interest; and <br />WHEREAS: Health Care Authority is awarding Kittitas County $271,035.00; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Agreement between Washington <br />State Healthcare Authority and the Kittitas County Jail shall commence on March 1, 2022 <br />and continue to June 30, 2022 and accepts this grant money and the terms of the contract. <br />ADOPTED this <br />ATTEST: <br />day of March, 2022. <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />APPRO D AS TO FORM: <br />I � .Z �; t� <br />D.
