Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />3/1/2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to approve chairs signature on Agreement No. SWMWRRED-2022KiCoSW-0023 with the <br />Department of Ecology. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste Department in coordination with the Communication Director applied for the <br />grant from the Department of Ecology. The overall goal of the grant is to educate the public to help with <br />litter control, waste reduction, recycling and composting. These items are required as part of the Kittitas <br />County Solid Waste Management plan and our Contamination Reduction and Outreach Plan(CROP). <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Prosecutor, Communication Director, Department of Ecology <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Boards approval for Chairs Signature on Agreement No. SWMWRRED-2022KiCoSW-0023. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return signed copy <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
