Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />03/01/2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves and signs the resolution approving the <br />Professional Service Agreement Amendment between Kittitas County and FISH Community <br />Food Bank for In Home Services, as well as signing the amendment. (Effective date: 08/01/2021 <br />– End Date: 08/01/2022) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The follow amendment extends the end date of the PSA between Kittitas County and FISH <br />Community Food Bank to August 1, 2022. Through this PSA FISH pr ovides groceries and <br />prepared meals to food insecure individuals under isolation or quarantine orders at their place <br />of residence. It was previously thought that the Kittitas County Health Network would be able <br />to take over services through alternate funding, but said funding will end sooner than <br />anticipated and will not adequately meet community need. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved 02/03/2022 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved 02/11/2022 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves and signs the resolution approving the <br />Professional Service Agreement Amendment between Kittitas County and FISH Community <br />Food Bank for In Home Services, as well as signing the amendment.
