KITTITAS COUNTY <br />WSU EXTENSION <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 15, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Appendix to MOA between WSU <br />Extension and Kittitas County for the 2022 Extension Program. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This revised MOA Appendix A amount reflects a routing change in <br />funding for the 4-H Program Manager position and the Master Gardener Program <br />Coordinator position. The county/departmental budget remains the same, and the position <br />responsibilities remain the same, but WSU will issue a paycheck and the employee will <br />be subject to WSU employment processes rather than Kittitas County’s for ease of <br />position administration. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approval and signature by Chair of BOCC on two originals of <br />Appendix A. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: Tip will forward two originals of Appendix A to WSU for necessary <br />signatures and return one signed original to BOCC. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Appendix A, Original signed MOA from 2001 <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Tip Hudson
