Whereas: <br />Whereas: <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE KITTITAS COUNTY TREASURER'S <br />OFFICE ON DISTRIBUTION OF PUD PRIVILEGE FUNDS. <br />REsoLUiloN No. 2o2L- I 1 tl <br />RCW 54.28.090 states that the county legislative authority of each county must direct the county treasurer <br />to deposit funds to the credit of each taxing district in the county, other than school districts, according <br />to the manner they deem most equitable; except not less than an amount equal to three-fourths of one <br />percent of the gross revenues obtained by a district from the sale of electric energy within any <br />incorporated city or town must be remitted to such city or town; and <br />RCW 54.28.090 states that information furnished by the district must be the basis for the determination <br />of the amount to be paid to cities and towns; and <br />Whereas:RCW 54.28.010 defines "Taxing districts" to mean counties, cities, towns, school districts, and road <br />districts; and <br />Whereas: Kittitas County properties owned by Grant County PUD District #2 are not located within any city or town; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington <br />directs the Kittitas County Treasurer to distribute all PUD Privilege funds received based upon the percentages furnished <br />by the Kittitas County PUD and outlined by RCW chapter 54.28 until directed otherwise. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, <br />APPROVED, this 21st day of December, 2021-, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSTONERS <br />KIfiITAS COUNTY,HINGTON <br />B sm Chairman <br />atrman <br />Cory Wright, Com missioner <br />BOARD. <br />lie A.
