2021 Law & Justice Council Funding Agreement Page 1 <br />LAW & JUSTICE GRANT AGREEMENT <br />FOR 2021 GRANT FUNDS <br />BETWEEN <br />Kittitas County and Cle Elum Police Department <br />Amendment <br />Grant #21-07-A <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the original contract awarding Grant 21-07 to Cle Elum Police <br />Department as approve by Resolution 2021-048 and signed by the Board of County <br />Commissioners on June 15, 2021, with an effective date of April 7th, 2021. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this Agreement is to provide an agreement for the award <br />of grant funds, which are used for special projects to foster cooperation, sharing of resources <br />and enhancement of the criminal justice project within Kittitas County, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there was conflicting information between the applications and the award <br />letters; the application stated funds would be effective January 1, 2021 and the Resolution <br />stated the funds will be available on the signing date of April 7, 2021 <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of Cle Elum Police Department had purchased items for t his <br />grant prior to April 7, 2021. <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Law & Justice Council met on September 15, 2021 and agreed to <br />allow the City of Cle Elum Police Department have a contract amendment with the effective <br />date of January 1, 2021. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE the amendment to the contract for Grant #21-07 is amended <br />from the effective date of April 7, 2021, to the effective date of January 1, 2021. <br /> <br />All other terms and conditions of the agreement remain in full force and effect . <br /> <br /> Signed this 21st day of December <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Cle Elum Police Department <br /> <br />____________________________________ ____________________________________ <br />Chair [Print Name] <br />____________________________________ ____________________________________ <br />Vice Chair [Signature] <br />____________________________________ ____________________________________ <br />Commissioner [Title] <br /> ___________________________________ <br /> [Address]
