KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, WEBEX <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM December 13, 2021 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Commissioner <br />Cory Wright. <br />Others via Webex: Dan Carlson and Jessica Miller Community <br />Development Services; Josh Fredrickson and Rebecca Cruse, Public <br />Works; and two (2) members of the public. <br />At 1:48 pm Chairman Wachsmith opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson provided an update of the residential <br />building permit activity for submitted and issued permits for <br />the month of November. We may see an additional increase as we <br />approach February 7th with the new CAO going into effect. <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING PROPOSED 2022 FEES <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson presented the proposed fees for <br />planning applications and standalone building permits prior to <br />the January 4th hearing. The only change is when looking at our <br />new fees for new construction, they are based on the ICC <br />building valuation data table. The table is meant to assist <br />jurisdictions come up with fees.
