Kittitas County <br />Public Health Office <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />12/7/2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Director on the <br />Consolidated Contract Amendment 23 (effected dates 1/1/2018 – 12/31/2021). <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Consolidated Contract is the vehicle used by the Washington State Department of Health to channel <br />state authorized funding for programs and services to the Kittitas County Public Health Department. The <br />Amended Consolidated Contract amends the following: <br /> <br />• Climate & Health Wildfire Smoke Indoor Air Quality Pilot Study - Effective September 1, 2020 <br />• COVID-19 Coordinated Response - Effective July 1, 2020 <br />• Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS) - Effective July 1, 2021 <br />• OI-Promotion of Immunizations to Improve Vaccination Rates - Effective July 1, 2021 <br />• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education - Effective October 1, 2020 <br /> <br />Adds an increase of $649,409.00 for a revised maximum of $4,434,110.00. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved 11/22/2021 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved 11/23/2021 <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Director on the <br />Consolidated Contract Amendment 23 (effected dates 1/1/2018 – 12/31/2021). <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Candi Blackford <br />
