KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 7, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This agreement is between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric <br />Unlimited. The second floor hallway and associated dayrooms in the jail have blind <br />spots in which the Sheriff would remedy with this proposal. Accurate Electric Unlimited <br />(AEU) proposes to provide and install twenty‐six new dome cameras. The Vicon <br />V2000D‐W313MIR is a 2MP dome camera with a polycarbonate cover. AEU will install <br />the cameras with CAT 6 cabling and route to the second floor security electronics room <br />above the hallway ceiling tiles. The County will provide the requisite POE Ethernet <br />switches and the fiber link to the switches. AEU will core drill two 2” holes above the <br />security electronic room door and install cable management to the switches. Each cable <br />will be tested and certified. Cameras in the dayrooms will have conduit in inmate <br />accessible areas. AEU proposes the installation be completed with two (2) on site <br />Journeymen with remote programming by our software engineer within two weeks. AEU <br />proposes to be on site within 35 days of Notice to Proceed. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Accurate Electric Unlimited. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one fully executed original to the Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
