Kittitas County <br />District Court, Lower <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />12/7/2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve 2022 Indigent Defense Services agreement for Lower District Court <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Eileen Murphy Young has been the court appointed attorney for Lower District Court for a number of years. <br />She has agreed to continue in this capacity for another year. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />This agreement has been reviewed by Judge Sander and Ms. Young. DPA Mitchell has reviewed and <br />approved as to form. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />I recommend that the County Commissioners approve the agreement with Eileen Murphy Young to provide <br />indigent defense services in the Lower Kittitas County District Court for the period January 1, 2022 - <br />December 31, 2022. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Please return a copy to Lower Kittitas District Court and Eileen Murphy Young. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Barbara Demory <br />
