ThisAgreement is made pursuant to Revised Code of Washington ("RCW") 3 6.7 08.17 0 and,KittitasCounty Code ("KCC") Chapter l5A.1l <br />RECITALS <br />I <br />2 <br />KCC 154.11 authorizes the execution of a development agreement between the Countyand a person having ownership or control of real property within its jurisdiction. <br />This Development Agreement by and between Kittitas County and the Developer relatesto the development to be known as "Marian Meadows Estates,, (or simply, the"Project"). <br />3' The Developer owns certain real property (the "Property") consistin g of 445.42 acresacross 17 parcels,located approximately seven miies northwest of Roslyn in portionsof Sections 1 and 12, Township 20, Runge 13 E, wM in Kiftitas Courrty, bearingAssessor's map numbers 20-13-01000-0012, 20-13-12000-0013, 20-13-01000-0004,20-13-01000-0013, 20-13-01051-0018, 20-13-0105 L00r4, 20-13-01051-0015, 20_13-01051-00r3, 20-13-01051-0012, 20-t3-01051-0008, 20-13-01051-0007, 20-13_01051-0006, 20-13-0105 10002, 20-13-01051-0001, 20-13-01051-0016, 20-13-01000-00 1 I, 20_13_0t05 1 _00 17. <br />4' On May I,2018, the Board of County Commissioners approved Ordinance 201g-006,granting the Marian Meadows Planned Unit Development (pD-17-00001); <br />Conditional Use Permit (CU-17-00001), and Plat (LP-17-00001) for the Developer topursue the Project at the site above. <br />KCC 15A' 1 I.020(2) requires a development agreement to set forth the standards andother provisions that shall apply to, govem and vest the development, use andmitigation of the development of real property for the duration specified in theagreement. <br />5 <br />Development Agreement - page I of 12
