KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 16th, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve a Professional Services Agreement with L&S Tire <br />Company. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Solid Waste is seeking approval of the Professional Service <br />Agreement with L&S Tire Company. Upon the expiration of the <br />current agreement, multiple staff members have solicited telephone <br />bids and made inquiries on prices and procedures to tire recycling <br />businesses in the states of WA, OR, MT and CA. Responses have <br />been that they are not taking on new customers at this time, cannot <br />handle our volume of scrap tires or no response. L&S Tire Company <br />has been servicing Kittitas County’s transfer stations since 2011. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the proposed agreement.
