KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 2, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on <br />Agreement No. SWMCLCP-2123-KiCoSW-00045 with the <br />Department of Ecology. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Solid Waste Department has received a grant for the <br />Department of Ecology for Litter pick up and Illegal dump cleanup in the amount of <br />$70,404.00. These grant funds must be spent by the end on June 2023. <br /> <br />These funds support our youth litter crew and community clean up events in an effort to <br />keep Kittitas County roads and public land free of litter. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Solid Waste Department, and Department of Ecology. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return two signed copies to the Solid Waste Department. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Agreement No. SWMCLCP-2123-KiCoSW-00045. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Solid Waste Director. <br />
