10/19/2021 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM/WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. OCTOBER 19, 2021 <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner <br />Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Kelly Bacon, Staff <br />Planner; Jeremy Johnston, Planning Official; Neil Caulkins, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; Carly Brettmann, Communications Director; Mandy <br />Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; and 1 member of the public. <br /> <br />Per Governor Insleeās Proclamation 20-28 et seq., the public was <br />encouraged to join the meeting virtually or in person. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING SUNCADIA PH 3 DIV 17 CDS <br />At 2:00 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to <br />consider the Suncadia Phase 3, Division 17 Tumble Creek Preliminary <br />Plat (LP-21-00002). <br /> KELLY BACON, STAFF PLANNER reviewed a Staff Report reviewing an <br />application from Steven Lathrop, authorized agent for Suncadia <br />Resort, LLC landowner, for an 80 detached residential lot plat with <br />access, community/recreational open spaces and other natural open <br />space tracts on approximately 620.11 acres of land that is zoned <br />Master Planned Resort. The proposed lots range in size from 14,5000 <br />to 45,2000 square feet. In conjunction with the preliminary plat <br />application, a site development plan was submitted. She also <br />provided information on the Administrative Review, Comprehensive <br />Plan, Environmental Review, Agency and Public Comments, Project <br />Analysis, proposed Findings of Fact, suggested Conclusions of Law <br />and Conditions of Approval. She mentioned that a new Staff Report <br />had been drafted and provided to the Board on the public website <br />which removed Condition 16 regarding traffic monitoring report. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to approve the Suncadia Phase 3, Division <br />17 Tumble Creek Preliminary Plat (LP-21-00002), as amended by <br />removing Condition 16, and to direct Staff to prepare enabling <br />documents. VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
