BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />DEMONSTRATING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SUPPORT FOR <br />AVIATION REVITALIZATION LOAN PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE <br />WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AVIATION <br />DIVISION FOR BOWERS FIELD WEST HANGAR TAXIWAY AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE AIRPORT DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE LOAN DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County intends to submit An Aviation Revitalization Loan Program <br />Application to the Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation <br />(WSDOT) for the Construction of the West Hangar Taxilane at Bowers Field <br />Airport (ELN); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The current anticipated total project funding is estimated to be $450,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Aviation Revitalization Loan Program requires that loan program applicants <br />submit a Resolution of Support from the Board of County Commissioners, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners understand the loan will be repaid from <br />airport fund reserves over time; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners declares it be in the best interest of Bower Field Airport and does <br />hereby support submitting an Airport Revitalization Loan Program application for <br />Bowers Field and authorizes Airport Director to execute the application on behalf <br />of the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> <br />DATED this 5th day of October 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik ________________________________ <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice- Chairman <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner
