BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUilON No. 2021- I +7 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE TO SUBMIT <br />INDIVIDUAL RELEASE OF CLAIMS REGARDING DAIMLER AG AND MERCEDES- <br />BENZ, USA, LLC EMISSION CAMPAIGN 2O2OO4OOO2 <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Sheriffs Office had previously received the <br />donation of a mobile command post; and <br />WHEREAS, this vehicle was among those covered in a recall and class action <br />lawsuit pertaining to emissions equipment as described in the documents attached hereto <br />and incorporated by reference; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office desires to participate in the Class <br />Action Settlement in reference to the above vehicle including the refund described in the <br />attached documents; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, thE <br />Sheriff is authorized to sign all necessary forms, papenruork, and releases to obtain the <br />settlement heretofore described.
