2021-09-09 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM/ WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY 9:00 A.M. SEPTEMBER 9, 2021 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Amy McGuffin, <br />Chamber CEO; Emily Masseth, Chamber Communications Manager; and 1 <br />member of the public. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING CHAMBER OF COMMERCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to receive <br />a quarterly update from Chamber CEO Amy McGuffin. <br /> <br />Amy McGuffin, CEO of the Chamber provided talking points and gave <br />reports on the last year and the first two quarters of 2021. The <br />Board was able to ask clarifying questions about the reports. Ms. <br />McGuffin asked the Board if there were any data sets they wanted to <br />see on the reports moving forward that are not currently presented. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz would like to see the number of new jobs and <br />the wages of the jobs created. Commissioner Wright would like to see <br />explanations of “whys” on lost opportunities and more of the <br />priorities from the strategic plan. <br /> <br />There was discussion on future reports that would be provided for <br />the recreation forum. <br /> <br />The Board thanked Ms. McGuffin for the update. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:41 a.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> Taylor Crouch Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />
