BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF OF UNCOLLECTABLE DEBTS <br />TOTALING $165.00 PAYABLE TO THE KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 2021 -_______ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Code 4.04.010 establishes that fee schedules for the activities of the <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department shall be set by annual resolution of the Board of Health; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Fiscal Analyst of the Kittitas County Public Health Department (the “Department”) <br />tracks and issues monthly statements for monies owed to the Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Fiscal Analyst of the Department has reviewed the 2020 outstanding accounts <br />receivable, and in consultation with the Kittitas County Auditor’s office, has determined that the Department <br />has one (1) account receivable in the total amount of $165 which is uncollectable; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, diligent efforts have been made to collect on these delinquent, uncollectable accounts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the write-off of uncollectable accounts is fiscally responsible and necessary to provide an <br />accurate measure of Kittitas County’s financial position; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Kittitas County, Washington, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following accounts receivable are uncollectable and are authorized for write-off: <br /> <br />Invoice Debtor Program Amount <br />#1759 Curly’s Environmental Health $ 165.00 <br /> <br />2) That the above accounts receivable, in the total amount of $165.00, are hereby authorized to be <br />removed from the financial records of Kittitas County effective upon the adoption of this Resolution. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2021. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> ___________________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br /> <br />ATTEST: ___________________________________ <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br />_____________________ ___________________________________ <br />Julie A.
