BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2021-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO REJECT FORMAL BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF TENT STRUCTURES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a formal bid request was published on July 15, 2021 to purchase two tent structures for the <br />Kittitas Valley Event Center; and <br />WHEREAS, two bids were received by the requested deadline that was extended by Addendum due to <br />specification clarification; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined during the bid review that the specifications were not complete in order <br />to accurately bid the project based off of not receiving proper information from the City of <br />Ellensburg on city code requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, the bid that could meet specifications is disqualified due to exceeding the maximum <br />amount of $120,000 in the bid terms set out in the Tent Structures RFB – Bid No. <br />KVEC2021-02; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby reject the formal bids for tent <br />structures at the Kittitas Valley Event Center. <br /> <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />☐ Clerk of the Board <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board <br />
