KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: July 20, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on Change Order <br />number 2 with Mass X for the Colockum Building Demolition. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Event Center received a grant to demolish the <br />Colockum building and to extend water around the Bloom Pavilion. <br /> <br /> During the project unforeseen items where encountered under the <br />existing building. (Additional foundations, slabs, and waterlines.) <br />additional work and time needed to remove these items. This change <br />is for the additional work and materials needed to complete the <br />project on time the for the upcoming event. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Solid Waste/Maintenance Director, Event Center Director and <br />MassX. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards approval for the Chair to sign Change order 2. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return to Maintenance. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Change Order <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
