BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUTT'N No. 2o2t - 08lg <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON COUNTY ROAD <br />ADMINISTRATION BOARD RURAL ARTERIAL PROJECT AGREEMENT <br />SUPPORTING IMPROVEMENTS TO HUNGRY JUNCTION ROAD, CRP 304.20 <br />WHEREAS: Improvements to Hungry Junction Road appear on the County's 2021-2026 <br />adopted six-year transportation plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited and has received Rural Arterial Trust Account <br />(RATA) funding award from the County Road Administration Board (CRAB) <br />through the Rural Arterial Program (RAP) supporting Hungry Junction Road <br />Improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works was notified by CRAB on April 30,2021of $372,860 in <br />funding had been awarded, allowing design work to commence for the <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: The County is required to enter into a project agreement with CRAB <br />accepting proj ect funds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RLSOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on <br />County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Project Agreement for <br />Construction Proposal supporting Hungry Junction Improvements from <br />milepost 0.00 - milepost 1.74, County Road Project Number 304-20. <br />DATED on this lst day of June 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS <br />WASHINGTON <br />a <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />/t,/illlil1 <br />Breff achsmith, Chairman <br />Vice-Chairman <br />!
