This ordinance elected to have <br />Kittitas County proceed with implementation of the requirements of the Voluntary <br />Stewardship Program once the Washington State Legislature provides adequate <br />funding for such activity. The Washington State Legislature has appropriated <br />Voluntary Stewardship funds for the 2021-2023 budget for implementation of the <br />Voluntary Stewardship Program. <br /> <br />The attached contract between Washington State Conservation Commission and <br />Kittitas County would provide for implementation and funding of the Voluntary <br />Stewardship Program between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2023. <br /> <br />The proposed contract has received legal review from the Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Prosecuting Attorney, Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2021-2023 Biennium Contract No. K2213 Between The Washington State <br />Conservation Commission and Kittitas County. <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: CDS recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the contract and <br />authorize the Chair to sign the contract. <br /> <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Dan Carlson, AICP, Community Development Services Director
