KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 1, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for June 15, 2021 at 2:00 <br />pm local time to consider Adopting the 2021 Recreation <br />and Tourism Plan. <br />BACKGROUND: For the past several months staff has been working with the <br />Board revising the 2016 Parks, Recreation and Open Space <br />plan. The one-month public comment period closed on <br />May 7, 2021. Comments received (five) are being <br />incorporated into the final draft that will be presented at the <br />public hearing. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for June 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm local <br />time to consider Adopting the 2021 Recreation and <br />Tourism Plan. <br />HANDLING: Return Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
