KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 1, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an Irrigation Franchise with <br />The Ranch on Swank Creek on Burke and Ranch Road(s). <br />BACKGROUND: The Ranch on Swank Creek has applied for an irrigation franchise <br />to improve irrigation delivery in the area. The applicant is <br />partnering with Kittitas County Conservation District and staff has <br />reviewed the engineered plans. <br />After approval a work in the right of way permit will be required <br />for the proposed work. <br />The Franchise Application is complete, and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />The Franchise Agreement has been executed by the Applicant. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a public hearing on June 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm local time to <br />consider an irrigation franchise with The Ranch on Swauk Creek <br />along Burke Road and Ranch Road. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Franchise Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
