BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021- <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WRITE-OFF OF UNCOLLECTIBLE DEBTS TOTALING <br />$1,315.00 PAYABLE TO THE KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Resolution Number 2004-02 establishes the civil fee <br />schedule for the Kittitas County Sheriffs Office for the time period in question; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Sheriff and his Fiscal Analyst have reviewed the <br />2012-2014 civil accounts receivable and have determined that the Sheriffs Office has civil <br />accounts receivable totaling $1,315.00 which are uncollectible; and <br />WHEREAS, RCW 4.16.040(2) provides a six (6) year statute of limitations for <br />actions which are based upon accounts receivable resulting from the ordinary course of <br />business; and <br />WHEREAS, the write-off of uncollectible accounts is fiscally responsible and <br />necessary to provide an accurate measure of Kittitas County's financial position, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, by the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington, that the Kittitas County <br />Sheriffs Office civil accounts receivables attached hereto for the years 2012-2014, are <br />determined to be uncollectible and are written off from the accounts of Kittitas County. <br />ADOPTED this day of <br />ATTEST: <br />2021. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />VED AS TO FORM: <br />Douglas R.
