03/05/2021 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING FRIDAY 9:30 A.M. MARCH 5, 2021 Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chair Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. Others: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Nicole Ogan, Environmental Transportation Planner; Bridget Pechtel, Long Range Planner; Kasey Knutson, Special Programs Coordinator; and 5 members of the Public (via Webex). WORKSHOP PUBLIC WORKS WORKSHOP COMMISSIONERS At 9:30 a.m. Chairman Brett Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting with County Staff to hold a workshop on the Parks, Recreation, Open Space (PROS) Plan and Tourism Plan. AGREEMENT CENTRAL WA. DISABILITY RESOURCES PUBLIC HEALTH Kasey Knutson, Special Programs Coordinator, presented a request to consider/approve a Professional Services Agreement with Central Washington Disability Resources. Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Professional Services Agreement with Central Washington Disability Resources. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. Director Cook overviewed the changes suggested by Commissioners for sections of the PROS Plan and Tourism Plan. The Commissioners adjusted the plans as they went through the proposed changes. Director Cook thanked the Board and indicated that he and Nicole Ogan, Environmental Transportation Planner would compile the Boards decisions from today and bring it before them before distributing the plans to identified stakeholders. There was discussion on the timeline for the next stages of implementation. The Plans will be available on the BOCC website for the public to access.
