Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 16, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a public hearing for March 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm for the Board of <br />County Commissioners to consider the Suncadia Ph 2 Div 1 Nelson Creek <br />Preliminary Plat (LP-20-00003). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Steven Lathrop, authorized agent for New Suncadia, LLC, landowner, submitted <br />an application for a 36 detached residential lot plat with Community Open Space, <br />access and service tracts on approximately 26.9 acres of land that is zoned Master <br />Planned Resort. The proposed lots range in size from 14,000 to 74,400 square <br />feet. In conjunction with this preliminary plat application, a site development <br />plan was submitted for Suncadia Phase 2 Division 1. In conjunction with this <br />preliminary plat application, a site development plan was submitted for Suncadia <br />Ph 2 Div 1 Nelson Creek. <br /> <br />In conformance with the Seventh Amendment to the Suncadia Development <br />Agreement, Kittitas County Community Development Staff requests that the <br />Board of County Commissioners set a public hearing for March 16, 2021 at 2:00 <br />pm in the Commissioner’s Auditorium to hear public testimony and consider the <br />Suncadia Ph 2 Div 1 Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services and Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve request to set a public hearing for March 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm via <br />WebEx for BOCC consideration of the Suncadia Phase 2 Division 1 Nelson <br />Creek Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ad Text and Web Text <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jeremy Johnston, Planning Official
