KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 2, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a request for proposals for Consulting services to <br />assist with developing and implementing a Public Involvement plan <br />with the Courthouse Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners have created a courthouse <br />committee to look into the needs of the courthouse and jail. Part of <br />this committee will be looking at the existing structure and the cost to <br />remodel compared to the cost to relocate. <br /> <br /> The commissioners are requesting proposals from a consulting firm to <br />facilitate the courthouse committee and community involvement in <br />the processes. <br /> <br /> At this time we would like to advertise for consulting services. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the Request for Proposals. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the request to publish the request for proposals. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Clerk of the Board to publish. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Public Notice <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Johnson, Director Solid Waste/Maintenance <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
