Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION DATE: January 19, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Palomino Fields Division <br />4 Plat (LPF-20-00004 & LP-07-00031) <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Palomino Fields Preliminary Plat was approved on November 18, 2008 <br />through Resolution No. 2008-160 (LP-07-00031). This proposal is for fourteen <br />lots on portions of 2 parcels (961393 and 961392). The subject property is <br />currently zoned Agriculture 5 and is located northwest of the City of Ellensburg <br />outside of the UGA in a portion of Section 27, T18N, R18E, WM, in Kittitas <br />County. Assessor’s Map Numbers: 18-18-27075-0101 and 18-18-27075-0100. The <br />preliminary plat is vested to the suburban zone which no longer exists in Kittitas <br />County and allows for these smaller lots. <br /> <br /> A final plat application was submitted by Chad Bala, agent for Cle Elum Pines East <br />& West LLC, on September 16, 2020 requesting final mylar approval for Palomino <br />Fields Div. 4. Due to necessary changes, the final mylars were returned and then <br />resubmitted on November 23, 2020, December 16, 2020 and finally January 6, <br />2021. This plat encompasses portions of parcel numbers 961393 and 961392 <br />creating 14 lots. Staff has reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation <br />and finds that it is consistent with the preliminary approval documents. <br />Additionally, final plat review has been processed in conformance with Kittitas <br />County Code Title 16. The mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, <br />and all signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, <br />Public Health, and Assessor’s Office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Palomino Fields <br />Div. 4 Plat (LPF-20-00004 and LP-07-00031). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for the Palomino Fields Div. 4 Plat (LPF-20-00004 and LP-07-00031). <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jeremy Johnston, Community Development Services Planning Official
