KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> <br /> <br />AIRPORT/INDUSTRIAL AREA LEASE AMENDMENT <br /> <br />THIS LEASE AMENDMENT is made and dated this ___day of _______, 2021, <br />by and between KITTITAS COUNTY, a municipal corporation in the State of <br />Washington, hereinafter referred to as the County, and <br />________________________, hereinafter referred to as the Lessee. This <br />amendment shall be effective January ___, 2021. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County and the Lessee entered into a lease on January 1, <br />2020; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, section 26 of said lease contemplates amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lessee would prefer to be making monthly rather than annual <br />payments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Airport Department supports the change in <br />lease provision to provide for monthly payments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the lease to allow for monthly <br />payments. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the parties to <br />amend the lease terms as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2 of said lease shall be amended to read as follows: <br />“Rent shall be paid on or before the first day of each month for the <br />term of this lease (until December 31, 2025) as follows: <br />Ground Lease-$1,162.35 per month <br />Building Lease-260.66 per month for January through November, and <br />$260.70 for December. <br />
