Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 19, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a public hearing for February 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm for the Board of <br />County Commissioners to consider the Suncadia Winemaker’s Cabins <br />Preliminary Plat (LP-20-00002). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Jeff Hansell, authorized agent for Swiftwater Cellars Properties, LLC, <br />landowner, submitted an application for a 24 attached residential lot plat with <br />open space, recreation facility, access and parking tracts and the existing <br />Swiftwater Cellars winery/restaurant on approximately 11.94 acres of land that is <br />zoned Master Planned Resort. The proposed lots range in size from 2,448 to <br />4,869 square feet. In conjunction with this preliminary plat application, a site <br />development plan was submitted for Suncadia Winemaker’s Cabins. <br /> <br />In conformance with the Seventh Amendment to the Suncadia Development <br />Agreement, Kittitas County Community Development Staff requests that the <br />Board of County Commissioners set a public hearing for February 16, 2021 at <br />2:00 pm in the Commissioner’s Auditorium to hear public testimony and <br />consider the Suncadia Winemaker’s Cabins Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services and Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve request to set a public hearing for February 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the <br />Commissioner’s Auditorium for BOCC consideration of the Suncadia Phase 2 <br />Division 4 Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ad Text and Web Text <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Kelly Bacon, Staff Planner
