1/08/21 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> FRIDAY 3:00 P.M. JANUARY 8, 2021 <br />Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice- <br />Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I, Clay <br />Myers, Sheriff; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor; Stephanie Hartung, DPA III; <br />and Neil Calkins, Chief Civil Deputy. SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br />At 3:00 pm Chairman Wachsmith announced that the Board would be <br />changing course of what was initially published for today’s Special <br />Meeting and announced the Board would instead recess into Executive <br />Session for 30 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or <br />potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a <br />member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a <br />party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to <br />result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. <br />No action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 3:30 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. <br /> <br />At 3:30 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess <br />back into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal <br />counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency <br />enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, <br />the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, <br />or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. No action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 3:40 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. Clay Myers, Greg Zempel, Stephanie Hartung, and <br />Neil Caulkins left the meeting. <br /> <br />At 3:40 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess <br />into an Executive Session for 5 minutes to evaluate the <br />qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review <br />the performance of a public employee.
