<br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2020-_______ <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING A CONTRACT WITH THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />RELATED TO AID TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, CHAMBER CARES GRANTS <br />AND KITTITAS COUNTY STRONG ROUND 2 GRANTS <br />WHEREAS, the County and the Chamber entered into a contract related to the corona virus- <br />related financial aid to affected businesses on July 21, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, CARES Act funding has become available to assist non-profit organizations, <br />Chamber Cares Grants and a Kittitas County Strong Round 2 Grant program affected by <br />the restrictions from the Governor’s proclamation of November 15, 2020 as well; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the contract to allow for the provision of financial aid <br />to non-profit organizations as well; and <br />WHEREAS, at a duly called and noticed public meeting, the Board of County Commissioners <br />determined that amending the contract was in the public’s best interest. <br />WHEREAS, the allocation per grant was modified, to allow full use of all programs <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the amendment to the contract with the <br />Chamber of Commerce related to aid to nonprofit organizations affected by the <br />pandemic is approved and the board Chairman is authorized to execute said <br />amendment. <br />DATED this ____15th___ day of _December_, 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />☐ Clerk of the Board <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board
