KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 1, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve and Sign a Lease for T-Hangar #2 <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Benjamin West, Director of Airport Operations <br />Ken Grannan, Airport Coordinator <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Brad Niebuhr was assigned the Lease for T-Hangar #2 at a Public <br />Hearing on November 3, 2020. <br /> <br /> Airport Staff worked with Deputy Prosecutor, Neil Caulkins, to <br />update the T-Hangar lease. The major changes included: <br /> <br />- Minor Formatting <br />- Rent increase from $125.00 to $150.00 <br />- Requirement for a Deposit of One Month’s Rent <br /> <br />A legal notice for the Public Hearing ran on the 19th and 25th of <br />November 2020. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors Office has reviewed this lease prosecutor’s <br />request #50026. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Airport Staff is requesting the BOCC consider a new lease for T- <br />Hangar #2 to Brad Niebuhr with a month-to-month term, rent <br />$150/month, and a deposit of $150.00. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Signed Copy - Airport <br /> Signed Copy – Airport for Distribution to Brad Niebuhr <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: New Lease and Resolution <br /> <br />
