2020-11-02 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> MONDAY 2:30 P.M. NOVEMBER 2, 2020 <br />Board members present via WebEx: Chairman, Brett Wachsmith; <br />Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others via WebEx: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; <br />Elisha Harvill, Chief Administrator; and Greg Zempel, <br />Prosecutor. SPECIAL MEETING PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE COMMISSIONERS <br />At 2:30 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to <br />discuss with the Prosecutor’s Office about staffing. <br /> <br />There was discussion about the request brought forward to the <br />BOCC in August regarding bringing someone on in the Prosecutor’s <br />Office. They worked with HR, posted the job, have applicants but <br />have not moved forward in the hiring process. The funding for <br />the position is trending upwards, but they did not want to move <br />forward without the BOCC’s approval. <br /> <br />The Board requested that the Prosecutor’s Office bring this item <br />back for consideration with the position costs and budget <br />information. <br /> <br />The discussion on caseload/staffing levels was not discussed. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 2:42 p.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD I KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> Taylor Crouch Brett Wachsmith, Chairman
