Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />11/3/2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Board's approval for Chairs signature on the Amendment with CH2M Hill Engineering (Jacobs). <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste has been working with Jacobs on the siting of the new Ellensburg Transfer <br />Station. At this time the County Solid Waste Department has submitted a pre application for a 10 million <br />dollar FEMA Bric grant and has been approved to go to the next stage of the grant application process. This <br />phase of the application require a very specific training to complete the process and in a very short time <br />frame. We have asked Jacobs to assist with the grant application so that the County will have a complete <br />and completive application. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Solid Waste, Jacobs and Prosecutors Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board's approval for Chair to sign the Amendment with CH2M Hill Engineering (Jacobs) <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return to Solid Waste <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Johnson <br />
