KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 3, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an <br />Inter -Agency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and Washington <br />Traffic Safety Commission. <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Inter -Agency Agreement is to provide overtime <br />funding for high visibility enforcement (HVE), traffic safety emphasis patrols, and <br />related activities in support of Target Zero priorities. The two agencies have worked <br />cooperatively on this project for more than 10 years. <br />INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an <br />Inter -Agency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and Washington <br />Traffic Safety Commission. <br />HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO.
