The <br />County accepted citizen amendment requests through August 14, 2020 for <br />consideration by the Kittitas County Planning Commission and the Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners. The amendments must be consistent with the <br />Growth Management Act and other applicable state laws, applicable countywide <br />planning policies, and the goals, policies, and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />The Kittitas County Planning Commission was scheduled to conduct a public hearing <br />on October 13, 2020 to consider the changes, however, the meeting was not held due <br />to a lack of quorum. A new virtual public hearing has now been scheduled to consider <br />the changes on November 10, 2020. A staff report containing staff recommendations <br />and the Planning Commission recommendations along with the docket items will be <br />provided prior to the public hearing.
