2020-10-26 Minutes 1 Information Technology <br />Commissioners’ Minutes <br />Kittitas County, Washington <br />Commissioners’ Conference Room <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Monday 11:00 AM October 26, 2020 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chair Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chair Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Cory Wright <br /> <br />Others: IT Director Jim Goeben <br /> <br />Regular Meeting Information Technology <br />Meeting called to order at 11:00 AM. <br /> <br />Executive Session - Performance of a Public Employee <br />The board entered into a 10-minute executive session (RCW 42.30.110 (g)) “to evaluate the <br />qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public <br />employee.“ No action was taken. <br /> <br />Discus staffing <br />Mr. Goeben notified the board of Jeremy Klarich’s resignation. He said he will work with the Human <br />Resource Office to advertise the position. <br /> <br />Wi-Fi Hotspots in Upper County <br />There was discussion about publicly availability Wi-Fi around the county to assist those without high <br />speed Internet access to attend public meetings. Mr. Goeben shared a City of Ellensburg map of <br />currently known locations: https://eburg.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Directions/index.html?appid= <br />537575cc1cd6423a959551df3f56bcfb.
