KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />October 20, 2020 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Adopt the October <br />2020 Public Works Organizational Chart <br />BACKGROUND: Requirements for adopting the Public Works organizational <br />chart appear in Chapter 36.78 of the Revised Code of <br />Washington. Specific requirements for setting the Road <br />Department's organizational chart appear in Washington <br />Administrative Code at chapter 136-50-051. This plan <br />moves road maintenance to the County Road Engineer as <br />required by the County Road Administration Board. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to adopt the proposed <br />organizational chart for Public Works. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Organizational Chart <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
