BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS  <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS  <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON  <br />  <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN   <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR  <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM  <br />PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT  <br />  <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020‐_____  <br />Whereas, Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public  <br />agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative  <br />action; and   <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public  <br />agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and  <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce will enter into  <br />the agreement to fund the Costs incurred for the public services through  <br />HopeSource to low‐ and moderate‐income persons in Kittitas County for the  <br />period of July 1, 2020 thru June 30, 2021.  <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners  <br />authorizes the execution of the Interagency Agreement with Washington State Department of  <br />Commerce, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference.  <br /> APPROVED, this 6th day of October 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington.  <br />      BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS  <br />      KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON  <br />  <br />      __________________________________  <br />      Brett, Wachsmith, Chairman  <br />  <br />      __________________________________  <br />      Laura Osiadacz, Vice‐Chairman  <br />  <br /> ATTEST     __________________________________  <br />      Cory Wright, Commissioner  <br />   <br /> _____________________________  <br /> Clerk of the Board
