Alex Ybarra and Chamber CEO Amy McGuffin. <br /> <br />Amy McGuffin, Chamber CEO gave local updates and updates on stimulus funding disbursement; <br />CWU Impacts; Sales Tax Revenue Projections and CARES Funding. <br /> <br />Alex Ybarra, State Representative gave an overview of information from Commerce. He stated <br />that it hasn’t yet contracted out the funds but outlined how Commerce is planning to use the $20 <br />million. He said $10 million is to be distributed to associate development organizations (ADO’s) to <br />make direct grants to businesses. He stated that the Contract is going out next week and $8 <br />million is being distributed to counties/ADO’s on a roughly per capita basis and the remaining $2 <br />million is being distributed to provide additional funding for counties in Phase 1. He stated that <br />Grants are for up to $10,000 for businesses with up to 20 employees and ADO’s will <br />administer/approve grants but commerce will have general guidelines and reporting requirements <br />for state funds. He stated that $5 million is to target disadvantaged businesses and $1.5 Million <br />for a contract for data analytics on economic indicators and a data dashboard website. <br /> <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager reviewed Financial Reports covering: <br />Kittitas County Statement of Net Assets by Component; Kittitas County Changes in Net assets; <br />2019 Schedule of Capital Assets (by fund); 2019 Schedule of Changes in Capital Assets; 2019 <br />Capital Assets less depreciation; 2019 Capital Assets with comparative 2018 totals by asset type; <br />2019 Schedule of long term debt; all Property Taxes collected comparative to the Budget; all <br />Sales Taxes collected comparative to Budget; Revenues collected from fees (external internal <br />Service funds); COVID-19 EOC expenses; COVID-19 Federal Sick Leave & County Emergency <br />Leave
