JOJO -l I q <br />A Resolution Establishing Fund 102 - Elections Security Grant <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on June 2, 2020 approved the <br />agreement from the U.S. Elections Assistance Commission through the Washington State <br />Secretary State which awarded Kittitas County $154,405.29 for Election Security, and <br />WHEREAS, the contract has specific requirements, it is recommended by the County <br />Auditor to create a new fund to manage the expenditures and investment requirements, and <br />WHEREAS, the budget will be created in the amount of $154,405.2g. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE lT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County <br />commissioners hereby establishes fund 102 - Elections security Grant. <br />AND, NOW THEREFORE BE lT FURTHER RESOLVED, the funds will be invested by <br />the County Treasurer for the maximum return and the interest will be credited to this fund. <br />BOARD OF COU coM SIONERS <br />U INGTON <br />ISthD 1 0202enuJofayd6th <br />h trman <br />lerk of t Board <br />CZ,Vice-Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
