05/26/2020 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. MAY 26, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; and Via Webex: <br />Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; and Via Webex: Taylor <br />Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of <br />the Board II; Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor; and 1 member of the <br />public. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved the County Vouchers and <br />PAF’s. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br />There was no Correspondence Log to review for the week ending May <br />22, 2020. <br /> SPECIAL EVENTS COVID-19 IMPACTS COMMISSIONERS <br />Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II, requested Board <br />direction on the Special Event Applications and future ones from <br />impacts to the COVID-19 Health Order. She said Judy Pless, Budget & <br />Finance Officer advised her that we cannot keep their application <br />fees for the year and roll them into next year. The Board gave <br />direction to Staff to post onto the Commissioners website that we <br />will not be accepting any Special Event Applications until we have <br />reached Phase 3 of the State’s Health Order. They also directed <br />Staff to refund the Special Event Application Fees that were paid. <br /> <br />The Board agreed to have Staff work with the Public Health <br />Department to schedule a Special Board of Health Meeting and invite <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Clay Myers, Sheriff; and Greg <br />Zempel, Prosecutor, to discuss and determine if an emergency still
