03/04/2019 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON 901 EAST 7TH AVE – ARMORY A REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:50 A.M. MARCH 4, 2019 Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chair Brett Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Project Manager and Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director. REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager gave an update on Shady Brook Units. She said there are 3 that have broken water lines and so far they can’t figure out where the breaks are that are impacting the pressure. Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director encouraged her to contact Sala’s as they have been able to find issues when other businesses haven’t been able to. Ms. Johnson stated that she would pass that on to Accolade (property manager). She stated that the three units happened to be privately owned. OTHER BUSINESS – Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director gave the Board an update regarding the camera on top of the Courthouse that the builder of the Hotel Windrow got permission to place to track the progress of the Hotel being built. Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director & Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager gave an update on the Clerk’s Office storage room. Tim noted that after the work they did on Friday there are still currently 6 file cabinets that do not fit in the storage room and the Clerk is still not in compliance. There was discussion of a letter to be drafted on behalf of the Board and signed by the Chair.
